Oftenverlooked late 80's jazz-rock gem

Didier's colaborative album with original Magma pianist 'Faton' Cahen is a pure class act. Originally released in France on vinyl in 1986 (and CD in '87) Voiceprint made it generally available for the first time in nearly 10 years in 2001.

It's Didier in full flow on Tenor and Soprano Saxes in the midst of a fantastic band. A very warm mainstream-ish funky late 80's jazz-rock with some wonderful typically Malherbian compositions (they really couldn't be by anyone else), which I love. I think it's a fabulous, often overlooked album which really gladens the heart. And it's so nice to hear Bloom on the tenor sax, an instrument he has largely stopped playing these days.

Jewelcase, 4 page ith some very brief, sleeve notes by Didier.
