Wonderful bit of time-travelling with the original UK Invisibles. The first Invisible Opera Company Band was formed by daevid allen in Australia in 1986. Different but similarly named bands were formed in Brazil (by current Gong guitarist Fabio Golfetti), and the US before a UK dispensation was independently created in 1992. This version toured with daevid and Ruz Hibbs from the original Australian band in 1994.
