The Definitive Single Remix Collection featuring remixes and collaborations by Richie Hawtin, Dubfire, Carl Craig, James Holden, Laurent Garnier, A Guy Called Gerald, A. Mochi, Liquid Soul, Son Kite, Alex Paterson, Voyager, Rovo, Evan Marc, Jam El Mar, Doc Scott. A feast of System 7 tracks, the vast majority of which previously only available on 12-inch vinyl or as downloads. All is revealed, including the original year of release, in the notes below.   1. Planet 7 James Holden remix (2004) - highly original and quirky style perfectly matched to System 7's top track Planet 7 from the album Encantado. Originally on vinyl 12" and digital only.
  2. Space Bird Dubfire Deep Space Remix (2008) - a collaboration with Jam El Mar (of Jam and Spoon) from System 7's Phoenix album, was No.1 on Beatport's main chart for 2 weeks in January 2008. Originally vinyl 12" and digital only.
  3. Passion One of System 7's most recent tracks (2012) and a big favourite in their live set. Originally on digital and CD in Japan only
  4. Sirenes System 7.1 Remix by Detroit maestro Carl Craig of Sirenes (1994) - the celebrated collaboration between System 7 and Laurent Garnier from the Point 3 Fire and Water albums. Originally on vinyl 12-inch and digital only.
  5. AlphaWave Plastikman Acid House Remix by Richie Hawtin (1995) - undoubtedly System 7's biggest track, still sounding massive today. This is the first time the full length version has been released on an album CD. The original track was also on the Point 3 Fire and Water albums, and gave it's name to their label. Original on full length version on vinyl 12-inch and digital only.
  6. PositiveNoise Carl Craig Remix (2011) - deep and funky remix of the lead track from System 7's most recent album Up - a track originally created in Berlin, a collaboration with A Guy Called Gerald. Originally on vinyl 12-inch and digital only.
  7. PositiveNoise A. Mochi Remix (2011) - Japanese techno star A. Mochi's huge Berghain techno style mix of PositiveNoise to vibrate the bass bins! Originally on vinyl 12" and digital - CD in Japan only.

  1. Interstate Doc Scott Remix (1996) of Interstate from System 7's album Power of Seven is a drum and bass classic. Originally on digital and System Express CD only.
  2. Space Bird Liquid Soul Remix (2007) - a second major remix of the Jam El Mar collaboration from System 7's Phoenix album, by Swiss progressive psy-trance star Liquid Soul. Originally on vinyl 12-inch and digital only.
  3. Planet 7 Son Kite Remix (2004) - second remix of Planet 7 from System 7's Encantado album by Swedish progressive stars Son Kite was a big success in the psy-trance scene. Originally on vinyl 12-inch and digital only.
  4. High Plains Drifter Voyager Remix (2001) - deep progressive trance remix by American producer Voyager of this track from System 7's Seventh Wave album. Originally on vinyl 12-inch and digital only.
  5. AlphaWave Bananadance Remix (2000) - one of two remixes made by System 7 to partner with the full length Richie Hawtin remix on the first A-Wave 12" vinyl release. Originally on vinyl 12-inch and digital only.
  6. AlphaWave System 7 2000 Remix (2000) - second of two remixes made by System 7 to partner with the full length Richie Hawtin remix on the first A-Wave 12-inch vinyl release. Originally on vinyl 12-inch and digital only.
  7. Rovo - Eclipse System 7 Club Remix (2012) - System 7's remix of Eclipse by Japanese band Rovo, with whom they made the successful recent Phoenix Rising collaboration album and tour. Originally on digital and CD in Japan only.
  8. Chihiro 61298 Evan Marc Remix (2010) - chilled tech house remix of this track from the System 7 album Phoenix by chill-out legend Evan Marc (aka. Bluetech). Originally on digital and CD in Japan only.
  9. Sunburst Atahualpa Mix (1996) - remix of System 7's first ever track from 1990, a collaboration with The Orb's Alex Paterson. Originally on digital and System Express CD only.
