The classic '77 band filmed for German TV.

The sextet in full flow. Filmed for German TV at the Otto-Hahn-Schule in Bensberg on 20th March 1977 - in fact this concert was recorded just a few days before the Rainbow Theatre gig in London some of which appears on the 'Live Herald' album. This official release includes three tracks not originally broadcast, It's All Too Much, Aftaglid (part 1), and Electrick Gypsies. There is also nice interview with Steve and Miquette filmed at their studio early in 2007 where, prompted by some astute questioning, they talk about those times and that music.

If you are a Steve Hillage band devotee of old I'm sure you will need no further invitation to support this official release - chuck away those grainy old bootleg videos of this gig - go for this real deal. If you are new to our diverse Universe and have never seen the SH Band in action - I envy what is store for you to discover on this DVD.
